VT Blogs: UVM BARF

This blog has only two posts, but I'm writing about it because it's worth looking at even if nothing else ever gets posted. The site is called  UVM BARF. The vomitous acronym stands for "Blog about Residential Food." There are four authors listed. In their first post, they write:

Tired of the high price and low quality of food at UVM? Join UVM BARF - the Blog About Residential Food We're trying to creat dialogue about the food at UVM, including Sodexho's monopoly, the lack of local food, the high cost of the meal plan and anything else you can think of. We hope that this blog can help organize the people that are affected by the University's food policies. Feel free to post your thoughts. We think the food here sucks and we want to do something about it!

I must admit, I'm somewhat disappointed that they're so earnest. On the other hand, I'm impressed that they're utilizing this medium to foment dissent. It'll be interesting to see if anything happens with this. Thanks, Z, for the tip.

Hey! Thanks for the plug, it's great to be a part of the Vermont blogosphere. Admittedly a tiny part, but maybe we can accomplish something anyway.
