Mayoral Debate Recap
Last night's mayoral debate was a hoot. The Film House on the waterfront was packed, and the candidates covered a lot of ground.
If you missed it and would like to find out what transpired, you'll be able to watch the debate shortly on the WPTZ website and the Channel 17 website. You can also read the live blog that Mike Ives and I ran last night.
Or you can check out blogger Haik Bedrosian's succinct summary at BurlingtonPol. It's funnier if you were there, or if you watched the debate already.
UPDATE: Haik has inexplicably removed his blog post. Grrr. Stay tuned.
Here's a recap from John Briggs at the Burlington Free Press.
UPDATE II: Haik's post is back and better than ever.

In what way was this a debate recap? By referring to Briggs article? Pretty worthless article.

It was fun to get out of the house and do something last night. Thanks for all the kind words and links.

I thought you guys did a great job at the debate. The blend of technology and old fashion debate themes was great.
I hope folks will remember to come up to the UVM Student Government Association's debate on 17 February (7 PM) at the Davis Center on UVM's Central Campus. The debate will be held in the Grand Maple Ballroom on the top floor. There is elevator and stair access. Free Parking is available. The theme of the debate is going to be Burlington's role as a college city, UVM-Burlington town gown relations, safety, the cost of renting in Burlington, police issues, student-neighbor relations and much more.
Students have completely organized this debate and all four candidates have RSVPed. I hope that some of you may Live Blog from the event like you did with the WPTZ/7 Days event.
It's going to be fun.
