Lake Champlain Walleye Assoc. [136]

7/4/09:  Lake Champlain Walleye Association and Vermont Fish & Wildlife have been working for decades to increase the population of walleyes in the lake and its surrounding rivers.

Thursday they harvested a St Albans pond of 12,500 walleye fingerlings which will be making their way into the Winooski River.

Editor's Note: My good friend and fellow filmmaker Keith Wilson of Walleye Productions makes a brief appearance in this video.

As one who happens to love walleye and has one himself (as in one lazy eye that looks at the wall) I love love love this video. Eva Sollberger is da bomb. Makes me want to get myself stuck in VT.
