The Return of the Tuesday Deadline Linkdump

Curling This week's Vermont blogosphere round-up:

• Pictures from the Green Mountain Curling Club, like this one at right, from Dan York.

• A funny story about ass jeans and the OP.

• Found Drama works his way through NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month).

• Introducting Audio Dream Theater, Vermont-based liberal political satire by Philip Baruth, Alex Ball and Neil Jensen. Follow the link and scroll down to find the audio player. First episode is about Jim Douglas and Brian Dubie. It's a little long for my short attention span, but has some entertaining moments. Such as:

Dubie:  Hi, Dad!

Douglas: Brian, I’m not your father. I’m the Governor. You’re the Lieutenant Governor. Together we make up The League of Two Extraordinary Republican Gentlemen. [Pause] What’s that you’re wearing?

Dubie: It’s a flight suit.  Gives voters confidence.

Douglas:  Not the flight suit.  What’s that?

Dubie: It’s a codpiece.  Gives voters additional confidence.

Douglas: Darn it, Brian. Take that thing off. [Sound of clanging metal in the distance as Dubie throws codpiece away] No gentleman, Extraordinary or otherwise, calls attention to his little Speaker Pro Tem.

Maybe if Baruth published a collection of his "hilarious comedy bits" he could crack the top 500,000 on Amazon.
