Stuck in Vermont at Seven Days
Yay! Seven Days added a vlog this week. From now on, Eva Sollberger's smart and fun Stuck in Vermont vlog will be brought to you by Seven Days.
Eva filmed her first "official" 7D episode at the Sonic Youth show last Sunday. Then she called about a million people in L.A. to try to get permission to use a Sonic Youth song in the video, and wonder of wonders, she got the OK. It would have been such a bummer to pull the song — it works really well.
I've been a fan of Eva's public access show, The Deadbeat Club for some time, and I'm really excited to be working with her.

Thanks Cathy and Bill! I am so so excited and have about a gazillion blogs planned already (and 3 are happening this weekend!) - I know, gotta pace myself! Ah well, so happy to be a part of the coolest team in town! And still smiling after that kick ass Sonic Youth show Sunday! They melted away my winter blues like a Supernova!
PS And I have to say that the day of the 30 phone calls to LA was one of the weirdest days of my life - but it was worth it in the end (until I get my cell phone bill that is!) 'cause I love this SY song!
