Vermont YouTube of the Day

Ben Van Buren's a senior at Burlington High School; next year, he'd like to enroll at The New School in New York. Instead of writing one of those hum drum college essays, he made a delightful little musical movie and posted it on YouTube. Just found it there and thought I'd share it. Check out those dance moves!

Burlington theatre-goers will recognize Ben from local productions such as The Bus.

That Ben van Buren is gonna be a star, mark my words. He is what, 17 years old and he has already starred in HOW MANY plays? Portrayed the whacky Dr Seuss in Lyric's Seussical, sassed it up in Joan Robinson and Robin Fawcett's Bigger than All of Us - the list goes on and on.

The New School would be mad, MAD I tell you, to reject such talent. And when Mr Van Buren's name is lighting up Broadway, I will cackle to myself with the memory that i once did invoice mailings with this fine fellow and was highly entertained by his wealth of accents and good cheer. Go get 'em Ben!

Wow! Very impressive and delightful! That was my first You Tube viewing and I loved it and love Ben! I agree, you will go far, Ben, and we'll all say we remember you when. You light up our lives and give us hope for the world, thinking about a wonderful young person bringing us joy and smiles and laughter. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks in advance!
