Weekly Post
This week it's from Bill Simmon at Candleblog:

There's more, including updates, which you can read on Bill's blog, or on the letters page of this week's Seven Days.
Neil at What's the Point mentioned in the comments to this post that this is the 43rd time I've chosen a post from Bill's blog for this spot. Actually it's only the 4th time. But that's more than most. I tend to pick posts that are short or easily excerpted, and are about local stuff. Or as close to local as I can get.
Just a head's up, the way we do the weekly post may be changing soon. More details to follow, eventually. Thanks for caring!

Pay your bill next time, chump. Stop blaming other people for your failure to get things done on time.

Hey anonymous, I wasn't complaining because they disconnected my service, I was complaining because they charged me twice for the reconnect.
ps

Haik, yes, well as I said in my post, BT can't get to my neighborhood fast enough. Unfortunately, we're looking at spring 2008 before that happens. I live in a neighborhood that's served via underground cable, so the build takes a lot longer.

I agree- Comcast does suck. If your Comcast’s not working for you (which apparently it isn't), you should try this great new email provider that my friend just got me hooked on. It's called BigString (http://bigstring.com), the new free webmail program. It offers revolutionary features. When you send mail from your BigString free email account, you are protected. BigString is like an automatic shredder for your email. You can self-destruct or change an email that's already been sent or read. Don't leave your messages sitting in peoples' inbox forever.
Try it! Enjoy :)
