A good read. And he got the name of the "band" right. ;)

I love how if you get old enough, you're allowed to be a "godfather".
"Sorry, Casey... Neil wanted you to know it's just business..."

Can you get me off the hook, Neil? For old times sake?

Would you have preferred "elder statesman", "forefather", "sage", or "maharishi"?
I was going to refer to you as the Bob Mould of the Burlington scene but then I would have had to explain the career path of influential band>>>solo career>>>exploring different sounds>>>blah blah blah. Plus, Bob can be a bit of a cranky old man these days so I didn't want to saddle you with that connotation.

Neil was a cranky YOUNG man, so there probably isn't a problem! ;)

No way, I'm still getting into the Godfather thing. Although Casey, in his role, might fit the part better. He does a better evil thing, and is generally better dressed then I. Just as long as I can be Consiglieri.
