Christmas Down in Africa
Last night was the annual Seven Days holiday bash — the first for both Dan and I, two of the company's 2007 babies. I think it's safe to say that we're both already looking forward to next year.
The night of drinking, dancing, and of course, gift exchanging, really got me ready for the next week of Christmas cheer, so I figured I would share a video bound to get you all ready as well. Yes, I realize college a cappella is not one of the genres normally written about here at Solid State, but watch till the end because it's totally (Toto-ally?) worth it.
My heart is aflutter.
Or at least that of the sixteen year old choir girl inside of me is...
Please, somebody, please post footage of Dan singing with the Top Cats. His a cappella past must be disclosed to the Seven Days online community and to the world at large. Special extra points to anyone who has footage of Dan singing "Sister Golden Hair" on his knees to a member of the audience.
