All in Together Now [47]

Friday night the tiny Pursuit Gallery down by the waterfront was jammed to maximum capacity for the opening of "All in Together Now."

12 artists from New York, Vancouver, Toronto and Oakland displayed their diverse illustrations and paintings.

Featured artist Ben Tour flew down from Vancouver and painted a larger-than-life sultry red-lipped woman on the white gallery wall.

The Lifetime Collective is a clothing company based in Vancouver that organized and sponsored this show.  The founder of The Lifetime Collective, Reid Stewart, was on hand to kick off the opening.

Pursuit3 Seth Neary and Skye Chalmers started Pursuit Gallery 2.5 years ago to celebrate the energy and vitality of people pursing their dreams.

They settled in Burlington after traveling the world - Seth as a snowboarder and Skye as a photographer.

"All in Together Now" will be up at Pursuit Gallery, One Steele St, Suite 125, through October 29th.   You can see Seth Neary's video about the show here

Raucous music by Chuch, "A Few Good Things" off their new album Juarez.

Canadians are so brilliant!!! But next time, have the gallery proved donuts with the beer when they host Canadian artists. That will make them feel more at home.
