Giant Pumpkin Regatta [147]
10/11/09: The 2nd Annual Giant Pumpkin Regatta transformed the Burlington Waterfront Sunday with crowds of cheering fans and a bevy of floating pumpkin vessels. The money raised will go toward the Linking Learning to Life program called PILOT.
The pumpkins were provided by the Vermont Giant Vegetable Growers Association and Eva met them at their State Championship weigh off the day before the race.
Music:
The Jazz Guys, A Blessing in Disguise, "The Best Five Minutes of Your Life"
Locations: Sam Mazza's Farm, Colchester, Burlington Waterfront, VT
Another fantastic Stuck. Makes me want to live in Burlington again. Lake Champlain. The water! Nice touch with the seagull.

Eva, great job on this piece, it's actually the best one I've seen on this subject. You did the growers proud! Come back next year.

Thanks for noticing the seagull Rasputin! I almost didn't include it so now I feel justified!
And thanks TK! That means a lot to me! I will be there for sure, can't wait to see if you manage to grow another "ugly" pumpkin! ;)
