The Cleary Burn [337]

1/4/14: The Cleary family in Jericho Center has a unique way of celebrating special occasions. For the past 3 years, the Clearys have been burning large sculptures created by sculptor & fire breather, Chris Cleary. This year Chris built a 20 foot tall creation representing Old Man Winter.  Kim Cleary is a fire spinner, and multiple fire artists joined both her and Chris in the pre-show performance. There were over 200 guests in the Cleary backyard on Saturday night gathered to watch Old Man Winter burn. Despite the cold temperatures, this celebration was the perfect way to ring in the new year.
